Terms of Service

1. The platform

Jordan Med Academy provides educational content and learning tools for medical students. Course descriptions, instructors, schedules, access periods, prices, and included materials may vary and will be presented on the relevant course or checkout page.

2. Educational purpose only

Platform content is provided for education and exam preparation. It is not medical advice, a substitute for clinical training or supervision, or a basis for diagnosing or treating any person. Unless expressly stated, enrollment does not guarantee academic credit, professional licensing, certification, examination success, employment, or recognition by a university or regulatory body.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate information and maintain only accounts you are authorized to use. You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account. Accounts and course access are personal and may not be sold, shared, transferred, or made available to another person. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Purchases and payments

Prices are displayed at checkout and may be presented in United States dollars. Payments are processed by the payment methods shown at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or other charges that we do not control. Access may be delayed or withheld if payment is incomplete, reversed, disputed, or suspected to be fraudulent.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the refund policy displayed on the website or at checkout and any mandatory rights under applicable law. Unless required by law, fees for substantially consumed digital content, completed live sessions, or accounts restricted for violating these Terms may be non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us with your account email and order details.

6. Course access and changes

Course access is limited to the period and scope described at purchase. We may reasonably update instructors, schedules, recordings, lesson order, assessments, or materials to maintain quality or respond to circumstances outside our control. If a material paid component is cancelled without a reasonable substitute, we will provide an appropriate remedy as required by applicable law.

7. Live sessions

Live sessions may be delivered through Google Meet or another provider. You must join using your authorized account, follow the tutor’s reasonable instructions, and behave respectfully. Session links may not be shared. A session may be recorded only when participants are appropriately notified and recording is permitted. You may not independently record another participant without authorization and any consent required by law.

8. Intellectual property and limited license

Courses, videos, recordings, slides, questions, documents, graphics, code, branding, and other platform materials are owned by Jordan Med Academy, its tutors, or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and payment of any required fee, you receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access purchased materials for your own education during the stated access period.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • share accounts, meeting links, downloads, or paid course access;
  • copy, record, screen-capture, download, redistribute, sell, publish, or publicly display course content except where we expressly permit it;
  • remove or obscure watermarks, attribution, copyright notices, or access controls;
  • circumvent video, browser, session, authentication, or anti-copying protections;
  • use bots, scraping, credential sharing, or unauthorized automated access;
  • upload malware or interfere with the platform, another account, a tutor, or a live session;
  • submit another person’s work as your own or misuse assessments; or
  • use the service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Course videos may contain visible, moving identifiers associated with your account. You acknowledge that these measures are used to discourage and investigate unauthorized distribution.

10. User submissions

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display it as needed to operate the course, provide feedback, maintain records, and protect the platform. You must have the right to submit your content and must not include unlawful material or confidential patient information. Do not upload identifiable patient data.

11. Tutor relationships

Tutors may be independent educators contracted to provide or organize course content. They must follow platform requirements, but opinions expressed by tutors are their own. Questions about course delivery should first be raised through the platform so we can investigate.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, account sharing, unauthorized copying, abuse, security risks, unlawful conduct, or material violation of these Terms. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to explain. You may stop using the platform at any time, but account closure does not automatically create a refund right.

13. Availability and third-party services

We aim to provide reliable access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, internet failures, provider outages, security events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control may affect availability. Third-party services such as payment processors, Google Meet, Calendar, or externally hosted media are also governed by their own terms.

14. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform and content are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees beyond those expressly stated. Jordan Med Academy is not responsible for academic, clinical, licensing, employment, or examination decisions made from educational content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a paid course will not exceed the amount you paid for that course.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of your relationship with the platform.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve a dispute informally. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Jordan unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, providers, or legal requirements. The current version will be posted here with its effective date. Material changes may be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
